The status quo
Every year people dump 8-12 million tons of plastic into the oceans.
That's one truck load per minute. If we continue like this, the same amount of plastic and fish will swim in the ocean by 2050.
So far, only 9% of the plastic ever produced has been recycled. This is where we start.
Are we going to solve the problem?
Good question. Don't underestimate the power of purchasing power. Consumers spent $ 73 billion online in June 2020 alone. Imagine if only part of it was used to address the plastic problem. We are firmly convinced that we can make a difference together!
